What are the conditions for withdrawing money from my BCGE vested benefits account?

Case #1: You have reached the retirement age or are at most 5 years from it.
- Identity document
- If you are unmarried: original civil status certificate less than one month old
- If you are married: family record book and spouse’s identity document

Case #2: You are receiving a full state disability insurance pension (min. 70%) and the risk of disability is not covered.
- Identity document
- Original state disability insurance certificate less than three months old
- If you are unmarried: original civil status certificate less than one month old
- If you are married: family record book and spouse’s identity document

Case #3: You are transferring capital to another 2nd pillar pension fund.
- Identity document
- Document from the pension fund certifying the existence of the account

Case #4: You are becoming self-employed (only in the first year of affiliation with an OASI compensation office).
- Identity document
- If you are unmarried: original civil status certificate less than one month old
- If you are married: family record book and spouse’s identity document
- Original certificate of affiliation as self-employed with an OASI compensation office, less than three months old
- Extract from the Commercial Register
- Interim balance sheet or any other document proving professional activity

Case #5: You are leaving Switzerland permanently (subject to Art 25 et seq. VBA).
- Identity document
- If you are unmarried: original civil status certificate less than one month old
- If you are married: family record book and spouse’s identity document
- Original certificate of departure from the Residents’ Registration Office, less than three months old.
- Original certificate of residence (or certificate of registration at the Swiss consulate) and permanent employment abroad, less than three months old (only for Swiss clients or permit C holders).
- Original declaration on honour if not employed (only for Swiss clients or permit C holders).

Case #6: You are acquiring residential real estate or shares in a housing cooperative by means of a mortgage loan or a construction or building loan.
- Identity document
- If you are unmarried: original civil status certificate less than one month old
- If you are married: family record book and spouse’s identity document
- Certificate from the notary or the bank certifying the allocation of funds (own funds or mortgage loan or a construction or building loan).
- For purchase: copy of draft deed of sale
- For mortgage, construction or building loans: extract of the land register in Switzerland or property register in France, less than three months old, and copy of the deed of sale
Further documents will be sent to you by the Bank for completion.

Case #7: You pass away
- Identity document
- Copies of the death certificate and certificate of inheritance
- Copy of civil status certificates of all beneficiaries
